About Us

I am located in Spanish Fort, Alabama. I have been raising Southern Blackmouth Curs for 12 years. Most of my dogs are shades of red, with an occasional yellow or buckskin. Through a strict breeding program, I have been able to consistently preserve the standard. It is important to me to raise healthy Blackmouth Curs who have the abilities that make them versatile and a temperament that allows them to be better family pets.

More About the Curs

Originally raised as a pioneer dog that had to earn its keep, the BMC has been bred for multipurpose use such as: protecting and herding wild stock, protecting the home, companion in the woods, baying and protecting against wild boar, cougar, and bear, and small-game hunting. Their primary urge is to please the master.
